You will be supervising lessons across different subjects, keeping pupils on track with their learning and ensuring their behaviour is managed. Planning and marking are not a part of this role however being able to lead a large group of students effectively is essential.
This role suits a confident, reliable person who enjoys working with teenagers. No two days are the same, with a variety of subjects to cover from Science, to PE every day will be a new exciting challenge. Being able to quickly build rapport with pupils and show authority without being heavy handed will be your priority.
This is a great opportunity for an aspiring teacher who enjoys working with young people and wants to further their career in education. You’ll be stepping in to deliver pre-planned lessons therefore your main focus will be high quality teaching and student engagement.
