Long Term Teachers are working with a variety of fantastic schools in South Bristol, who are looking for an enthusiastic TA to join their hard working, passionate team . We are welcome to hear from applicants who are looking for either full time, part time or supply based work, where you will work Monday to Friday, term time only, between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm.
We are very passionate about delivering the best quality of support to a number of schools all across the South West, these include, mainstream and SEN environments.
Your main duties will include:
- Managing the classroom
- Running activities
- Leading 1:1 and small group interventions
- Supporting students of all abilities, including those with SEN
- Report writing and liaising with SLT on students progress
About you:
- Experience working with children, particularly toddlers
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students with diverse learning needs
- Strong organizational skills to assist with lesson planning and classroom management
- Strong knowledge of UK curriculum
