If you are an experienced SEN teaching assistant, looking for flexible work within Taunton from September, this could be the role for you! Long - Term teachers are working with a number of fantastic SEN schools, that support through all key stages with a variety of special educational needs.
We are seeking candidates who are confident and experienced working with complex educational, medical and behavioural needs. The appropriate candidate will be able to implement varied behaviour management strategies, be nurturing and empathetic when working in this setting
Key duties:
- Managing behaviour
- Supporting class teacher to prepare activities
- Making display boards
- Break time duty
- Offering emotional support
- Admin
This will be a flexible role that can work around your schedule, however you will be expected to work 8:30am - 3:30pm. There will be an opportunity to progress full time, if you demonstrate to be an excellent candidate and work well with the school and needs of the students.
