Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities to students
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
- Assist in classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers to create and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
- Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
- Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required
Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma, with some post-secondary education preferred
- Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
- A passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
- Quick learner and able to adapt to different teaching styles and methods
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset but not required
