A welcoming Secondary School in Weston is looking for an experienced Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join their team and lead the MFL department as Head of MFL. Located near the seaside in Weston Super Mare this school has a good reputation in the local community for an aspirational curriculum. This is a larger secondary school and with that comes some challenges but if you are looking to be part of a wider community this is the place for you.
You will be joining a team that genuinely cares about their students' academic and social development, they value collaboration and support amongst the teaching personnel and their students.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the MFL Teaching Team feels supported and has all the resources necessary for their classes in KS3 and KS4. You will also be teaching French and Spanish lessons to students in KS3 and KS4 therefore preparing students for their GCSE exams. Planning and marking will be essential in this role therefore detailed knowledge of the UK curriculum is required.
