I am working with a wide range of fabulous schools across the Wiltshire and Swindon area that are seeking permanent staff to join the school starting in September. There is a wide variety of opportunities available for dedicated and enthusiastic teachers ready to take the next step in their career. I also work with schools for emergency cover and supply.
You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum to the class and regularly assess student progress, providing feedback to pupils, other members of staff and parents. You must be a strong communicator and proficient in class and behaviour management. You will also be responsible for the pupils emotional well being.
Responsibilities:
- Bring your best self to work every day, pupils are supported by adults always doing the best for them.
- A balanced teaching approach to the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Assessing student performance regularly and using this provide feedback to pupils, other members of staff and parents to create targets for improvement.
- Create a positive learning environment that is in line with the school's values of kindness, hard work and taking responsibility for our actions and decisions.
- Engage in continuous professional development and reflect on teaching practices
- Work in collaboration with parents and other members of staff to support diverse learning.
- Be alert to child protection concerns and follow safeguarding procedures to best support students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is essential.
- Qualified teacher status and a relevant degree or PGCE
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and colleagues effectively.
