Lead English Teacher
An amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic English Teacher, with extensive experience working with children with special educational needs, to join a fantastic specialist school based in Westbury. This lovely independent school provides a holistic approach to students ages 11 -16 all with individual needs, which include learning, physical and social, emotional, mental health needs.
As the lead English teacher, you will have responsibility for ongoing development of the English curriculum, developing plans, identifying clear targets and monitoring students' progression. With this being said, it is paramount that you have a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and have confidence to teach English to students with additional needs.
Your key duties and responsibilities include:
This will be a full time, permanent position, where you will be directly employed by the school, there will be an opportunity to interview at the end of August, ready for a September start.
