Salary: £85 - £95 per day
A SEN School in Redruth are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Mentor to join their team. This is a full-time role with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. We are looking for someone passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Requirements:
- Must drive and have access to a vehicle due to the nature of the role.
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Availability for a minimum of 6 months.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people with SEN and helping them achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, assisting in their academic, emotional, and social development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN coordinators to tailor educational plans for students with diverse needs.
- Support students in managing their behaviour, enhancing self-confidence, and developing positive relationships.
- Help create a nurturing, structured, and safe classroom environment.
