A lovely Primary School in the BS24 area of North Somerset is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant who can support children throughout KS1. 


 

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for part-time work within a lovely, friendly school who are passionate about supporting their staff with professional development and are keen to support vulnerable families to build a strong community around the school. 


 

The Role 


 

This position is to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year, where you will be expected to work with a pupil in their KS1 class.


 

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who is able to bring a calm and nurturing learning environment to the classroom, where the child can feel safe and comfortable in your care. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Strong positive behaviour management strategies. 
  • Work collaboratively and communicate well with the Class Teacher
  • Have previous experience working with SEND children.
  • Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
  • Communicate and observe personal and learning development.
