A Primary School in the BS41 area of North Somerset are currently looking for a wonderful Teaching Assistant who can support throughout a Year 2 class. 


 

This school aims to provide a learning environment that can support children to achieve their maximum potential. To achieve this, they work closely with their community to provide a wide variety of experiences for the children both on and off the school site.


 

The Role 


 

The school is looking for someone to join as soon as possible on a Full-Time basis, working Monday to Friday until July. 


 

The successful candidate will be working closely with the Class Teacher to support whole class teaching and 1:1 support - interventions and with SEND children.

The suitable candidate must be passionate about transforming the lives of children and bring with them enthusiasm which can encourage engagement and commitment to their learning. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop activities. 
  • Have high expectations for the individual to succeed. 
  • Create a safe environment for the pupil to learn at their own pace. 
  • Manage and support the child’s needs. 
  • Be adaptable with the learning opportunities.
