Location: Street

Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Contract: Full time, permanent

Start: September 2025

Salary: £18,000 - £19,000 per annum (actual)


 

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected specialist school that supports students aged 11 - 19 with a diverse range of learning needs. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join its vibrant and nurturing team from September 2025.


 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a setting that prioritises ‘Learning For Life’, working closely with young people and their families to develop essential life skills and achieve meaningful progress. They are seeking individuals who are positive, empathetic, adaptable and willing to learn.


 

Key Qualities We’re Looking For:


 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A basic understanding of how children and young people learn
  • Confidence using ICT and good literacy/numeracy skills
  • A natural ability to build trust and rapport with students, families and colleagues
  • Previous experience of working with children in the UK is essential
