This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to be part of a friendly and talented team. 

In the BS5 area of Bristol, you will be joining a Primary School part of a large Academy trust who can provide professional development. 


 

This school is dedicated to improving outcomes for children with the friendly and supportive ethos they hold. You would be part of a team who are committed to supporting pupils and families. 


 

Your New Role 


 

You will be expected to join the school on a Full-Time basis, term time only. 

Working 1 to 1 with a pupil with ASD needs, you will need to build strong relationships with the pupil and their family to challenge and support the child’s development in school. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Understanding of the needs of children with ASD
  • Experience of a range of ways of communicating with children who are non-verbal.
  • Experience of planning and delivering learning activities
  • Hold high expectations of outcomes for the child.
  • Understanding of the behavioural needs.
