We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work across multiple schools in the Torbay area. This flexible role offers an exciting opportunity to support young learners in a variety of settings, helping them succeed academically and personally.
Your Role:
- Provide tailored support to pupils, both individually and in small groups, in various school environments.
- Assist in classrooms to ensure a positive and inclusive learning experience.
- Help manage behaviour and maintain a nurturing and focused atmosphere across different schools.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt learning strategies to meet pupils' individual needs.
- Support children with additional needs, helping them achieve their goals wherever you’re placed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children (preferred).
- Previous experience working with children is essential
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
- A positive, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young learners.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
