The successful candidate will have a level 2 or higher qualification. A positive attitude and a passion for helping children learn are a must! This role is offering between 20 and 37 hours on a permanent basis with the opportunity for over time.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in creating a positive learning environment
- Support students in their academic and personal development
- Help with classroom management and behavior strategies
- Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for working with children
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with different age groups and in various subjects
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Level 2 TA or higher
