Long Term Teachers is on the hunt for a PE teacher to join our team and help out in Secondary Schools across Taunton. The daily pay rate will be between £140 - £170 depending on qualifications and experience.
We need an enthusiastic, and flexible person who has experience teaching or coaching young people through a range of different sports. Planning and Marking will not be necessary in this role, however being able to quickly build rapport with teenagers, and establishing authority without being heavy handed will be crucial.
As a PE teacher you will support and teach pupils a range of subjects including health and physical education and a wide range of sports, up to GCSE level. If you are passionate about showing young people the importance of physical education and the transferable values and skills that participation in sports can bring beyond the school years this is the role for you.
Guiding the pupils in developing their sense of leadership, organisation, resilience and responsibility should be one of your top priorities in this role.
