Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support / Named Person Allowance (NPA) - SN15

My client, a welcoming and inclusive primary school, is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a child with Special Educational Needs. This role is available on a permanent basis, starting ASAP, with hours scheduled for mornings only, Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing one-on-one support for a student with Special Educational Needs, helping them feel engaged and empowered
  • Developing positive, nurturing relationships to foster the child’s love for learning
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and the school community to meet the child’s specific needs
  • Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for learning
  • Ensuring the well-being and safeguarding of the students in your care

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Experienced in supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Patient, creative, and genuinely passionate about helping children succeed
  • Flexible, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated to child safeguarding and their overall well-being
