I am working with an excellent Infant school in Swindon looking for an enthusiastic Reception Teacher. Curriculum involves the singing of songs and rhymes in order to promote language skills. Students enjoy the reading garden which really promotes outdoor learning. The learning and development of the children is influenced by opportunities outside the classroom and extra curricular activities.
This role is for September as a permanent position. As a reception teacher you will be responsible for nurturing and developing the children's abilities, knowledge and social skills in line with the curriculum. These duties include planning and delivery of lessons in order to create a stimulating learning environment and creating a positive relationship between children parents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivery of engaging, inspiring lessons.
- Supporting children in extra curricular activities and clubs
- Communicate with parents and teachers in order to create positive relationships.
- Creating a positive learning environment by creating inspiring lessons.
- Supporting students inside and outside the classroom.
- Help students to participate fully in lessons to boost self-esteem
Requirements
- Passion for teaching to create a nurturing environment for students
- Good communication between teachers and parents.
- Patience, commitment and creativity in providing learning materials
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- Provide support for wellbeing
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
