A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a caring and dedicated Resource Base Teacher to join a friendly one-form entry village primary school in the SN15 area of Chippenham. This is a part-time role, teaching three days per week with flexibility on which days are worked. As the Resource Base Teacher, you will teach a small group of around 10 Key Stage 2 pupils who benefit from a tailored and supportive approach to learning. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet individual needs, helping children develop confidence and independence. Working closely alongside the SENCo, you will share planning responsibilities and ensure learning is well-matched to each pupil’s abilities and interests.

We are looking for a patient, compassionate, and adaptable teacher who has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. You should have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with pupils with SEND or within small group settings. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with the SENCo and support staff. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who brings warmth, creativity, and commitment to helping every child achieve their best.
