We are currently working in partnership with a motivated and supportive Secondary School located in the beautiful West of Cornwall. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Teacher of Science to join their forward-thinking Science department. The successful candidate will be someone who can inspire and engage pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering high-quality lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love for science.
About the Role:
As a Science teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective science lessons.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring all learners reach their full potential.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience of teaching Physics or Chemistry is desirable but not essential.
A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students.
Previous experience in a secondary teaching role is preferred.
