Learning Support Assistant - Truro (Post-16 Provision)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We’re currently seeking an experienced and confident Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant and welcoming hub in Truro, supporting a post-16 student on their educational journey.

This rewarding role involves working closely with students who require additional support due to SEN and behavioural needs. You’ll play a key part in helping them thrive both academically and personally.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience supporting individuals with SEN
  • Strong behavioural management skills
  • Confidence working in a one-to-one setting
  • A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to learning
  • While classroom experience is beneficial, it’s not essential - we welcome applicants with SEN experience from other settings.

Please note: An enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service is required for this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking post-16 provision where your contribution will truly make an impact.
