SEN Learning Support Assistants
We work on behalf of a fantastic special school based in South Bristol that are looking for new SEN Learning Support Assistants to join the team. The school look after a very wide range of special needs & disabilities that include SLD, MLD, PMLD, ASD & Complex Needs for ages 4-16.
The school are well respected in the area and are going through exciting times of change with new Senior Leadership coming in to steer the school through rapid growth!
The role
Due to the needs of the students it is imperative that you have worked with complex needs before, ideally in a school setting. This is a school that is very different from a mainstream school and they require candidates who are aware of this!
The role of SEN Learning Support Assistant is varied but is mostly about supporting the class teacher with whatever they need. It is a lot of 1-1 support where you will be expected to be proactive in your approach and work closely alongside other LSA's in the school.
