SEND Teaching Assistant / Special Needs Classroom Support - SN4

My client is seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with social communication difficulties, adapt learning to meet diverse needs, and manage challenging behaviors. This role will be available from September on a fixed term contract for 1 year as the role is linked to pupil funding, working 5 days a week for a total of 27.5 hours.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting students with social communication difficulties and adapting learning to meet individual needs
- Assisting in whole-class activities, small group sessions, and providing one-on-one support
- Monitoring and delivering Pupil Passports and following advice from external professionals
- Assisting with the organization of the learning environment and maintaining learning materials
- Helping pupils develop literacy and numeracy skills

- Passionate about supporting SEND children within Key Stage 2
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and motivated with excellent interpersonal skills
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Experience working with children with social communication difficulties and pre-verbal communication
