What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide support to children with severe or profound learning difficulties and complex needs
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment
- Assist in implementing individualised education plans
- Assist in supervising and facilitating educational activities for individual and small groups of pupils
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and promoting their progress and achievement
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
- Celebrate the small successes and milestones of each child
About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Experience of working with pupils in a care or education setting, particularly those with SEN
- Nurturing and empathetic nature
- An adaptable and collaborative team player
- Proactive in assisting with classroom organization and resource preparation
- Comfortable covering classes or groups in the absence of the Teacher or lead
