SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant - SN2 7QE

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons in small groups or one-on-one settings
  • Adapting to the needs of children, particularly those with ASD and Speech and Language difficulties
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student development
  • Keeping detailed records of student progress to inform future learning strategies
  • Working as part of a professional team with high expectations for all children

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Have a good sense of humor and strong communication skills
  • Bring creativity and enthusiasm to support the delivery of the curriculum
  • Demonstrate a consistent, kind approach to all children, even in challenging situations
  • Ideally, have experience with the EYFS or KS1 curriculum and working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD
