A Primary School in BS36 is currently looking for a Teaching Assistant who can work on a 1 to 1 basis with a pupil in a KS1 class who has ASD needs.

The Role
This position is to start in the new academic year and will be available until July 2025. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, Term Time only.
The Head Teacher is looking for a flexible candidate, someone who can cope in high-pressure environments and can adapt to working with 2 pupils with two different needs.
You will be expected to:
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop activities.
- Be a resourceful candidate, who can adapt activities to meet the needs of individuals.
- Work 1:1 with children in a 1:1 environment, supporting interventions and core learning.
- Support assessment and evidencing learning.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Challenge the pupils to achieve their best potential.
