An incredible Primary School in the North Bristol area has a fabulous resource based classroom as part of their school.
Over the past few years, they have seen an increase in children with Special Educational Needs joining this resource based room. This classroom provides these children with a safe and nurturing environment to be able to access learning at their own pace.
The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate who is friendly and positive, who demonstrates a can-do attitude to encourage children to challenge themselves and take responsibility for their own learning.
The Role
As a successful candidate, you will have previous experience working with children with SEND. This could be in any setting.
From November to July, you will be working on a full-time basis with children with additional needs. Currently there are 8 children in the classroom, with 4 adults. With a high demand for children to join this classroom, there is a demand for additional Teaching Assistants.
This role is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday Term Time only.
