An amazing Primary School in the heart of Weston-Super-Mare is looking for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil in their Year 4 class. 


 

This Primary School has a great behaviour policy in place, ensuring their pupils are enthusiastic and engaged in their learning. They also have an amazing team of staff who are supportive and motivated to provide the best learning for their pupils. 


 

The Role 


 

As a successful candidate, you will be working on a 1 to1 basis with additional needs.

This role is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday Term Time only. 


 

The Head Teacher is looking for a patient and resilient candidate, someone who is able to support children on their social and educational development. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Has high expectations of the pupil you will be working with. 
  • Previous experience working with SEND children. 
  • Able to communicate and work with the Class Teacher closely. 
  • Meet the needs of the child through innovative teaching methods. 
  • Liaise with the SENCo for additional activities. 
  • Show initiative and flexibility.
