Are you passionate about leading the way in special education? My client, a dynamic primary school in Swindon, is seeking a qualified SENDCo to champion and manage all aspects of SEND. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage all areas of SEND across the school
- Support the Headteacher in safeguarding responsibilities
- Teach part-time, focusing on the Complex Needs Unit (0.4)
- Develop and implement SEND policies and action plans
- Oversee the quality of teaching and learning for SEND students
- Line manage the Complex Needs Unit and SRP
- Act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)
About You
- Be able to do the job as described
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- NASENCO Qualification or willingness to complete within 2 years
- Significant experience in SEND teaching and staff management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
