I am currently looking for experienced Teaching Assistants for a Primary School in the Keynsham area of Bristol.

They are looking for someone who is experienced working throughout EYFS or KS1 as they have some children in year 1 classes that need additional support. 


 

This school is a great place for children to be encouraged to use every chance and opportunity they get to explore and develop their learning journey. 


 

The Role 


 

There are multiple roles in this school, you have the chance to work 1:1 with children or work in small groups supporting with additional needs; Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Speech and Language or behavioural. 

All these roles are long-term positions to start in the New Academic Year. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Strong positive behaviour management strategies. 
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and communicate clearly. 
  • Be flexible and encouraging when working with this pupil.
  • Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment.
  • Communicate and observe personal and learning development.
  • Support children in a group setting, using objects to support and encourage learning.
