Supply Teacher
Bath
Pay : £135+ per day , DOE
I am looking for a confident Supply Teacher to support a secondary school in the Bath area. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for teaching. Also, those who are interested in gaining classroom experience and playing a key part in daily school life. The school has a supportive staff culture and high expectations for students. As a supply teacher you may be covering a range of different subjects, however if you have a specialism this is beneficial.
This is a key role within the schools daily operation, providing lesson cover when teachers are absent. You should be prepared to work across KS3, 4 or 5 ensuring students remain focused and engaged. You will also support behaviour management and follow school routines. This is a great opportunity for someone with classroom experience looking to explore a career in teaching within a structured and well-supported setting.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare lessons
- Help manage classroom resources.
- Work with teachers to track and support pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with other staff
- Manage behaviour in the classroom
Requirements :
- Confident, reliable and able to follow instructions
- Flexible and a positive approach to teaching
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience working in secondary schools
- Effective classroom and behaviour management
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
