A welcoming and modern primary school in the BS37 area is seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to join its vibrant team this September. Nestled in a peaceful, family-oriented community with strong values and green surroundings, our school offers an encouraging environment for both staff and pupils to thrive.

About the Role

As a full-time Supply Teacher, you’ll be covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, ensuring continuity in learning in the absence of regular teachers. Lessons will be pre-planned, and you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging sessions, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting pupil well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons to a high standard
     
  • Manage classroom behaviour confidently and effectively
     
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
     
  • Provide marking and feedback for regular class teachers
     
  • Support pupils’ learning and pastoral development
     
  • Adhere to school policies, including safeguarding
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
     
  • Experience teaching across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
     
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
     
  • Flexible, adaptable, and professional
     
  • Committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils
