A small, community feel Primary School in Weston-Super Mare is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work closely with the Class Teacher to resource and adapt planning to support individual students.

The Role 


 

This role is a full time position to start in the new academic year. 


 

The Head Teacher is looking for a proactive, energetic and committed candidate who would inspire children to be confident and independent when approaching challenges. When working 1:1 or in a small group, you will need to be patient and sensitive to ensure children feel comfortable and safe. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Have previous experience of working with SEND children; ASD, ADHD and SEMH. 
  • Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management. 
  • Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development.
  • Create a positive learning environment.
