What we are looking for
Long Term Teachers is currently looking on behalf of a reputable school in south Bristol. The role involves being a 1:1 support, aiding a child with their learning, making sure they stay on task and follow the schools behaviour policies. Having knowledge of ADHD or SEND would be preferential. This is a fantastic opportunity if you have had classroom experience as a learning support assistant or TA or even a HLTA or cover supervisor wanting to step back from the pressures of leading the class and rather support the learning of a specific child.
What are clients are looking for
Are you an adaptable, caring person who is interested in working in secondary schools in the south Bristol area. You need at least 1 classroom experience, and have a helpful, positive attitude and have a can-do attitude, this is the role for you!
- Supporting learning in the classroom, 1:1 and small groups
- Assisting with classroom behaviour management.
- Ensuring the classroom and displays are presentable and all resources the children may need are available
- Aiding the children with pastoral care
