What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing classroom-based support, assisting children with their learning and development.
  • Supporting individual students, including those with special educational needs, following tailored programs.
  • Observing and recording student progress to contribute to assessment records.
  • Encouraging and assisting children with personal hygiene and social interactions.
  • Supervising children during break and lunchtime to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, in line with the school’s ethos.

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Passionate about working with children and fostering their development.
  • Organized and proactive, with a commitment to supporting both teachers and pupils.
  • Comfortable assisting with personal care needs when required.
  • Willing to contribute to the school's ethos and attend relevant staff training and meetings.
