Role: Teaching Assistant

Hours: Monday - Friday, Term time only

Salary: £100 - £110 per day

About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons, support classroom management and provide targeted one-to-one and small group support. This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to develop their career in education while making a tangible impact on student progress and wellbeing.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging classroom content
- Support student learning through small group work and one-to-one assistance
- Help assess student progress and contribute to feedback and marking
- Maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with staff and school activities, meetings and professional development sessions
- Record and monitor student behaviour and development
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about education and student development
- Flexible, proactive and a natural team player
- Skilled in communication and relationship building
- Eager to grow professionally and take initiative
- Previous experience working with children and young people in the UK is essential
- Experienced (or has an interest) in supporting SEND and/or SEMH learners
What you’ll need:
- Previous experience in an educational setting is beneficial
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- An enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
