An incredible Infants School in the North Somerset area is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join their hard-working team from September.


 

The school focuses on bringing learning to life through challenging the children with engaging and fun activities. This offers the children a chance to flourish and develop independence. 


 

This Infant school is part of a Trust and can offer a supportive community to develop confident, enthusiastic and passionate children.


 

The Role 


 

Starting from September, you will be working in collaboration with another Class Teacher to plan and deliver quality lessons 2 days a week. 


 

The Head Teacher is looking for a candidate with the confidence and experience within a KS1 classroom. Someone who has excellent Phonics knowledge and can support the children with their transition from Reception class to Year 1. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Hold great knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum
  • Ability to differentiate lessons well to ensure everyone is able to access the learning. 
  • Have excellent Phonics skills
  • Work collaboratively with another Teacher and SLT members. 
  • Create an engaging learning environment
  • Communicate well with the class Teaching Assistants.
  • Plan and Deliver high quality lessons to inspire and motivate
