A welcoming and vibrant primary school in the BS11 area of Bristol is seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join their dedicated team. The Role:

 

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will work closely with three other experienced teachers to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons across the curriculum. You will:

Deliver high-quality lessons in English, Maths, and Science, following the national curriculum.

Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.

Support pupils' progress and development through effective assessment, marking, and feedback.

Contribute to preparation for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments and ensure pupils are well supported for transition to Year 6.

Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent learning. 

 

Requirements:

 

We’re looking for a teacher who:

 

  • Has a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum and expectations.
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management strategies and classroom presence.
  • Brings creativity and collaboration to lesson planning with the wider KS2 team.
  • Is committed to supporting pupils’ academic, social, physical, and emotional growth.
  • Is enthusiastic about creating memorable learning experiences inside and outside the classroom.
