A Primary School in the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire are currently looking for a full-time Year 6 class teacher to join their team from April.

 

This role involves planning and delivering academically driven and engaging lessons to meet the needs of the children. Candidates should be dedicated to nurturing confident and capable children who are well-prepared for transition to Secondary School.


 

The Role


 

You will be joining a 2 form entry school who are offering a full-time opportunity to start from April on a fixed term contract with an opportunity for a permanent role from September. 

 

The Head Teacher is looking for a Class Teacher who has strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and can provide  effective teaching to engage and motivate the children throughout their education experience. Someone with strong behaviour management and skills to help with SATs preparation. 


 

You will be expected to: 

  • Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status. 
  • Knowledge of the English National Curriculum. 
  • Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.
  • Work closely with other Year Group Teachers to plan engaging lessons. 
  • Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children. 
  • Have experience or understanding of the Year 6 SATs.
