Here at Long-Term Teachers we are currently seeking a Year 6 Class Teacher who is looking for part-time work.
There is a lovely 2 form entry Primary School in the BS9 area of Bristol who are looking for a Qualified Teacher to join their team from Term 5.
This school holds accountability for providing experiences and environments for their children to develop socially and emotionally.
The Role
This Teaching position is to start in Term 5 and end in Term 6.
This is a part-time position, where you will be expected to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
You will be expected to join the KS2 team and work as a Year 6 Teacher.
The Head Teacher is seeking someone who has great KS2 knowledge, someone who can be creative and use their experience to deliver exciting and engaging lessons.
You will be expected to:
- Deliver exceptional lessons.
- Support with planning - communicate clearly with the team teacher.
- Work closely with other year group staff to provide equal opportunities for children.
- Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
- Mark and assess children’s development in line with the schools marking scheme.
- Build relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
