The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced 360 Contract Recruitment Consultant to join our team and focus on sourcing, engaging, and placing exceptional contract talent within the engineering and technical sectors across the UK, USA, and the Middle East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven consultant to thrive in the high-demand contract recruitment market, delivering agile solutions to clients while building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for contract roles, from sourcing and engaging candidates to negotiating contract terms and closing placements.
- Client management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients in the engineering and technical sectors, understanding their short-term and long-term contract workforce needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Contract talent sourcing: Proactively identify and attract highly skilled contract professionals through job boards, social media, professional networks, and headhunting.
- CV screening and interviewing: Assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for specific contract roles through comprehensive CV reviews, interviews, and reference checks.
- Offer management: Negotiate contract terms with both candidates and clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet client requirements and candidate expectations.
- Market expertise: Stay up to date with trends in the contract recruitment market, especially within engineering and technical sectors, to provide valuable insights and guidance to clients and candidates.
- Building a contract talent pipeline: Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of contract talent, ensuring you are prepared to meet the immediate and future workforce needs of your clients.
- Recruitment administration: Keep accurate records of all recruitment activities, client interactions, and candidate data, ensuring compliance with recruitment processes and company policies.
- Compliance: Ensure all contract recruitment activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies, including IR35 regulations and other contractual obligations.
- This role requires a proactive, results-driven approach to contract recruitment, with a deep understanding of the contract workforce market. You will engage with senior-level clients and candidates and be responsible for driving success in contract placements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a 360 Contract Recruitment Consultant, ideally within the engineering and technical sectors.
- Strong client management skills, with a consultative approach to contract recruitment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and contractors.
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and driven by achieving results in the contract recruitment market.
- In-depth understanding of contract recruitment strategies, market trends, and legal considerations (such as IR35).
- Ability to engage confidently with senior-level clients and candidates in contract recruitment scenarios.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) plus uncapped commission (OTE £80,000 - £120,000).
