A growing, technically specialised international organisation is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and optimise all operational activities across the BeNeLux region. This is a high-impact leadership role with full responsibility for operational performance, safety, and continuous improvement in a project-driven, industrial environment.
The role
- Lead and develop Operations and Yard Managers to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality services across rental operations, logistics, installation, maintenance and system decommissioning.
- Take full ownership of key operational KPIs including fleet utilisation, service performance, quality, safety, customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
- Drive standardisation and optimisation of processes, ensuring best practices are embedded to support efficiency and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure customer projects are delivered on time, safely, and in line with technical and regulatory standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven decision-making and methodologies such as Lean or similar.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, safety and quality requirements.
- Identify and manage operational risks, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary operational contact for internal and external stakeholders, working closely with Sales, Engineering and Shared Services to ensure seamless service delivery.
Candidate profile
- Several years’ leadership experience in Operations, ideally within equipment rental, mechanical or industrial services, logistics or other project-based environments.
- Proven track record of leading multi-site or field-based operational teams in a performance-focused culture.
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset, with excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High sense of accountability, ownership and operational discipline, with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe; fluency in English required, Dutch or other European languages beneficial.
Desirable experience
- Background with industrial or rental equipment, such as pump systems, tanks, piping, filtration or spill-containment solutions.
- Exposure to working under VCA and SIR procedures, and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
