We are pleased to announce we have been Retained by a global leader in flow control solutions who are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team. You can be based anywhere in the South.
As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding sales by building strong relationships with major industrial clients overseeing the sales of flow control products and identifying avenues for business growth.
In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele, assisting them in selecting and customising flow control solutions for their specific applications. Collaboration with internal teams such as engineering, R&D, and production will be essential to ensure the timely and quality delivery of orders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build & maintain strong relationships with major industrial clients and the wholesale market
- Comprehend clients' needs to deliver tailored flow control solutions that ensure satisfaction
- Manage sales of flow control products from inception to closure
- Collaborate closely with the production team for efficient order fulfilment
- Provide accurate quotes based on client specifications
- Analyse costs, negotiate pricing, and ensure profitability
- Oversee order processing and address client queries promptly
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, offering regular updates on project progress
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align with client expectations
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities for strategic growth opportunities
- Address client concerns promptly and effectively
Your Experience:
- Must Have - Proven account management experience in flow control solutions sales or related industrial equipment
- Background in B2B sales within industrial sectors
- A Degree in engineering, business, or related field would be beneficial
