Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth across multiple market segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and capitalise on new market opportunities
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscapes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target markets
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients
- Negotiate and secure profitable contracts and agreements with new clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align efforts and drive growth initiatives
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services
- Continuously monitor and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the (Hire Industry) or selling into ( Manufacturing / Construction ) industries.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time)
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented
