Our client has been a leading name in technical plastic blow moulding design and manufacturing for over 40 years and is seeking a driven Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead their expansion into new markets. As part of a larger conglomerate and with significant growth already achieved, they’re ready to diversify and capture new revenue streams. Based in the North West of England with over 18,000m² of covered floor space and part of a group with over 35 blow moulding machines and injection moulding machines, Our client is primed for further expansion.
Profile:
This is more than just a senior business development role; it's a pathway to becoming our sales Director. You'll have the opportunity to build a high-performing sales team, starting with one direct report, and shape the future of our sales strategy.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets outside of the automotive sector.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities leveraging our expertise in blow moulding and injection moulding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in target industries.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a sales team.
What you will have:
- A proven track record in business development, ideally within the manufacturing sector (blow moulding or injection moulding a plus).
- Strong network and access to markets beyond automotive.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Experience with technical sales and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
