Junior Sales Engineer - Automation
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 | OTE $180k - $200k+
- Package: Uncapped Commission, 20 Days PTO, Medical, Eyecare, Dental, 401k
- Location: Remotely based anywhere in the USA.
This $2.5b turnover automation powerhouse is looking for ambitious, articulate and proactive salespeople and engineers to develop into a full cycle Sales Manager over a 12 month program.
This company provides tailored solutions, custom built to customer specification for Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems, Pallet Shuttle Storage and Automated Guided Vehicles. A typical projects ranges from $500k to $5m+.
Experience working for one of the biggest players in the game, developed directly by the VP of Sales.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll proactively learn and develop to own the full commercial lifecycle for your territory:
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan across the US
- Prospecting for new business to grow your project portfolio
- Managing and growing key accounts while identifying new project opportunities
- Leading complex, consultative sales processes from first conversation to contract signature
- Conducting site surveys and working closely with customers to define technical and operational requirements
- Writing and presenting detailed commercial proposals and forecasts
- Negotiating with senior stakeholders across engineering, operations, procurement, and leadership teams
- Working cross functionally with engineering, project delivery, and service teams to ensure flawless execution
This is a field-based role with regular customer visits. You’ll manage your own diary, priorities, and pipeline like a professional.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in selling or engineering within the Automated Storage or Material Handling Industry.
- Educated in Engineering at degree level or above: Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering. (Preferred)
- An ambitious, hard working attitude. This is a steep learning curve and will require only the best to earn an outstanding career.
- Internal sales experience within engineering / manufacturing industries will be advantageous.
- Experience within hands on engineering roles will also be advantageous.
- Clear and concise communication skills to ensure you can lead client projects.
