Job Title: Junior/Trainee Service Engineer

Location: South East

Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic Salary

Door-To-Door Travel Paid

OT at 1.5x Rate – x2 on a Sunday

If you work for an hour on a Sat/Sun, you will be paid the full 9 hours

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior/Trainee Engineer who wants to move up to the next step, this business have a strong training and development programme and look to develop their junior engineers.

 

Position Overview:

As a Field Service Engineer/Technician, you will be responsible for the meticulous service and maintenance of a wide variety of equipment. Your role will involve planned maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installing, and providing on-site training to our customers. This would suit an apprentice with a couple of years’ experience in the field working on pumps as full training will be required. 

We are looking for a professional, competent, and socially adept individual who can work both independently and collaboratively with in our team.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned maintenance of a wide variety of equipment, including fire pumps, sprinkler systems, water systems, booster sets and related equipment.
  • Execute reactive maintenance in a timely manner
  • Provide on-site training to customers across a number of industries.
  • Perform troubleshooting, service & repair activities on site, both alone and as part of a team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, representing the company with professionalism and a positive attitude.

 

Qualifications:

Apprentice trained or time served 2+ years working with mechanical equipment

UK Driving License

Mechanical Engineering qualifications

Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
