This is an exciting manufacturing business which has doubled its size in the last 3 years, including moving to new larger premises. They are a well-established company who have taken on a fantastic sales team and driven their expansion organically. They are strong in their supply chain and stockholding, able to provide the best service to customers.
As Operations Director you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Warehousing, including a Warehouse Manager
- Quality control
- Fabrication operations
- Leadership and team management
- Strategic planning and continuous improvement
What do you need?
- 10+ years of relevant experience in operations management, including warehousing, quality control and fabrication
- A relevant qualification would be beneficial, such as operations management, engineering, business administration or similar
- Knowledge of inventory management, quality control standards and lean principles
- Living in or commutable to Smethwick, you could live in Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Solihull, Tamworth etc.
