Mercury Hampton are managing the recruitment process for a highly motivated and proactive Outside Field Sales Representative to cover the vibrant market of Texas. This role involves engaging with prospect clients, nurturing relationships, and driving sales growth through effective field sales strategies.
The successful candidate will have 2/3 years business development and Account Management experience directly selling into and managing relationships in one of the following markets: Construction, Builders Merchants, OEM Aerospace, OEM Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, FMCG merchants. Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and visits to potential clients.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets, utilizing market insights and competitor analysis.
- Product Presentations: Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition to clients.
- Negotiation and Closing: Skilfully negotiate contracts, handle objections, and close sales deals to drive revenue growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to coordinate efforts, share best practices, and contribute to a cohesive sales approach.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record in outside sales or field sales roles, demonstrating success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and closing deals effectively.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks to drive results in a dynamic field sales environment.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing client information, tracking sales activities, and following up on leads.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with sales techniques, CRM software usage for tracking activities, and a valid driver's license for travel within Texas.
