Sales Application Engineer
Location – Worcestershire
Salary – Up to £35,000
An exciting opportunity has come up to join a leading global provider of engineered process safety solutions as a Sales Applications Engineer. You will join a small, friendly team to provide technical sales support to our customers.
Job Role
After completing industry-leading training and development, the Applications Engineer will assist customers with all aspects of sizing and selecting products and engineered solutions based on application-specific data. You will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for customers and supporting the Regional Sales Managers.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret technical documents like P&ID’s, drawings, and specifications.
- Provide expert advice on explosion protection solutions for flammable vapor systems.
- Size pressure and vacuum relief valves for storage tank applications.
- Manage engineering projects from bid to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer support.
- Provide technical and commercial assistance to regional managers and travel for training, client support, and trade shows.
Background Required:
- BSc in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a technical/commercial sales role.
- Ability to work independently or in an international team.
- Strong communication skills and relationship-building within teams.
- Proficient in MS Office.
