About the Role
Join the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant as a Senior Maintenance Supervisor, leading instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting activities. You will ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards, regulatory requirements, and operational policies while driving reliability, safety, and cost-efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert supervision and guidance on maintenance scopes, complex troubleshooting, engineering evaluations, operability determinations, and operational decision-making.
- Lead instrumentation inspection and overhaul through planning, execution, and post close-out phases.
- Deliver toolbox talks, pre-job briefs, safety connects, and safety-related messages to promote a strong safety culture.
- Plan, organise, and execute work within scope to meet performance and productivity targets.
- Ensure quality standards by implementing procedures and collaborating with quality engineers to resolve issues.
- Manage first-line disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters effectively.
- Demonstrate leadership and sound knowledge of mechanical fitting activities and company policies.
- Follow and enforce Health, Safety, Security, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity policies.
- Provide technical support during off-normal equipment investigations to ensure safe plant operations.
- Assist Shutdown Management in developing major equipment maintenance windows.
- Prioritise maintenance work to optimise resources and report results to engineering management.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Nuclear Power Plant outage environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in general maintenance and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) activities on primary and secondary sides.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental protection.
- Proven troubleshooting skills for complex instrumentation and control systems.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification preferred.
